Colorado Railroad Museum

Spring in Colorado has been beautiful but windy enough to make photographing spring blossoms more than a little frustrating. So, in an effort to find subjects that wouldn’t move so much in the wind, Bob Cole and I spent a morning last week photographing at the Colorado Railroad Museum. The conditions were bright and sunny and the light was very high contrast; definitely not the best light for photographing the engines and railcars. We both went off in search of details where the light was better. While I was checking the undercarriage of a boxcar, the rim lighting on these chain links caught my eye.
