Southwest Trip

Last week, I indulged my need for a “southwest fix.” It had been two years since I visited southern Utah and northern Arizona and it was definitely time for a return visit. It was a quick trip, but there was one day of spectacular light in Lower Antelope Canyon. This is one of my favorite images from that day. I like the sense of movement in the sandstone as well as the red reflections – even in the shadows – produced by the light making multiple bounces off the canyon walls. It was a magical time. I’m already looking forward to the next trip.
