We spent a little over three weeks in Alaska in late July and August. Our trip started with a stay at the Silver Salmon Creek Lodge in Lake Clark National Park. It was an awesome beginning. David Coray and his team at the Silver Salmon provided excellent bear viewing and photographing opportunities, comfortable accommodations, and great food. We’re already plotting to go back.
We spent a lot of time photographing this sow and her two cubs. This image was taken at low tide one morning when she was clamming. This little male was making sure he got his share.
