Pasque Flower

Spring is arriving late in Colorado’s high country this year. The high peaks are still getting more snow and the snowpack in some areas is at record levels. Last week, I went up to the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain NP looking for Pasque Flowers. In a typical year, I would have been too late; but when I got there there were lots of these flowers blooming. It should be an interesting year for wildflowers.
