Definitions we use
Golden hour: the sun between −4° and +6° altitude — warm, low-angle light. Blue hour: the sun between −6° and −4° — deep blue twilight. The morning golden hour therefore starts slightly before sunrise. Times are computed in your browser with the same algorithm used across this site.
